Description
There was a time, when I was much younger, that I considered myself very much the city gal. I lived in a high-rise condo, went to the theater at the Kennedy Center, jetted to Europe, worked in The District (what people who live there call D.C.) and would have been horrified at the thought of living in the south again, from whence I came, on a street like this. Now, this IS my street, where I walk my doggie night and day. It's not glamorous, but I guess this is the life for me. I am back in Florida, where I belong. Whenever I am tempted to move, I remember how much I do not like digging my car out from under five inches of snow.

Sounds like you left NY for the same reasons we did. But I wasn't in the city, I was upstate near Monticello. I loved it up there but the winters were brutal. I'm in TN now about an hour outside of Nashville. I enjoy this area because it's like the Catskills but not that snowy. The house here looks so secluded just like I like. Nice shot!
