This piece began as a photograph of lights at night and was developed into an abstract image. Mind you, once I start working on a piece, whether it is from scratch or a photograph that is manipulated beyond recognition of the original subject, someTHING takes over and guides the process ... it seems that the image creates itself, and I am just along for the ride. The hard part - two hard parts, actually - is, one, knowing when to stop and, two, thinking up a title. Sometimes the latter is a no brainer, having taken on a life of its own and practically screaming at me what to call it. THis was one of those.
