I think this picture has a very interesting perspective... just wondering if you photoshopped it?

Ginny Schmidt replied:

oh yes, most definitely - the basic composition is as shot but i did skew it to enhance the perspective

Artist's Description

Formerly titled "Tarpon Tree" because the photograph was taken in Tarpon Springs, FL, this picture has been in my redbubble portfolio for years. Even though it has always been one of my own favorite images, its performance on RB has been less than stellar ... perhaps because of the title.

Regardless of what it is called, I still think it is a great picture, even if I say so myself. There was this little sunny patio in Tarpon Springs and, on this day, the building framed the palm tree against a clear blue sky. The processing I did gives it an artful texture, simplifies the colors, and puts a little drama in the sky. I have a large canvas print of it that can be mounted on your own stretcher bars and hung framed or unframed, your choice. If interested, contact me for details.

Sometimes, instead of modifying a photograph, I start from scratch, resulting in some of my...
