From July 1, 2009: I felt dark today. Started tinkering, and this is what happened. Sometimes I feel like I don't know where I am going. I feel disembodied, haunting about in strangely configured unfamiliar places. Not that it is frightening, so much as somewhat disturbing, but interesting, nonetheless, to see what might lurk around the next corner of my mind.

Thanks SO much for the comment, Rachel - that means a lot to me. This picture was one of those happy accidents when I did not know what I was doing but was really pleased with how it came out. For me it represents those dark, convoluted places we go to from time to time and just have to trust that there is sunshine at the end of the next corridor.
