A neighbor of mine has orchids all over his back yard, hanging in baskets from trees, sitting in pots on tables all over, and he let me take pictures in there one gray and misty day. The day was gray, the fence was gray, but the light was coming through the petals on the orchids just right to make them glow. To accentuate the mistiness of the day, I blurred the trees in the bg and, to make the flowers pop, I thought a little bit of a frame would be nice.
