Artist's Description

Passagrill Beach, St. Petersburg, FL, a late afternoon at the end of April 2016. Rather overcast, and not too many people in the water. But, still, any day at the beach is a fine one, right? The original image was digitally given a somewhat painterly effect, and the colors altered to relieve some of the grayness of the day. Also the guy and the seagull at the far left were both moved closer in, so as to form a more pleasing grouping. As it was quite a long shot, the entire lower half of the picture (which was all sand) was deleted to make the picture more panoramic in style.
