Artist's Description
Put your feet up and relax with a steaming, fragrant cuppa tea. There is something almost mystical about tea ... consider its history and the cultural and ceremonial aspects of it, as well as one's individual relationship with the brew. Nostalgic memories of my grandma's favorite teapot (and she had several, all named) take me back to mornings in my childhood. It also puts me in mind of rabbits and mad hatters ... tea can transport you through the looking glass.
This image is also available printed on fabric at Spoonflower (by cricketnoel) where you can order it centered on a fat quarter of canvas and mount it on your own 14x18 stretcher bars as a wall hanging; alternatively, in a regular repeat on a yard of the twill or canvas will yield a half dozen placemats. If you prefer placemats ready made, see tea for one placemats on cricketnoel's page on Zazzle dot com.

Sometimes, instead of modifying a photograph, I start from scratch, resulting in some of my...
