Description
This began as a photo of the underside of a beach umbrella with leafy shadows showing through. I started tinkering with it and this is what happened. The more I stared at it, I started to feel a hypnotic effect. You can't really tell until you click into enlarged view, but the lattice-work that the umbrella spokes form really pop out, almost in 3-D, and the translusence of the umbrella fabric draws you in. It's an odd looking piece I admit, but fun and colorful; would probably not be a good choice to hang in a bedroom, but a kid's room or a game room would be a great place for it.
